The Terrible Twos!!!!

So I am glad to see that our 2 year old is not the only one doing out of his nature naughty things. A couple of weeks ago on a thursday I was in our family room when I hadn't seen my 2 year old for awhile. I went into the kitchen and he had colored on the cabinets with crayon. That was bad enough, but I have this spray bottle with red kool-aid in it for primary that I spray in the kids mouth. Well that made it all over the cabinets as well. It was half full and he emptied it out. I was mad but I was really trying to keep my cool. So we cleaned it up and I told him to go in his room and play. Well about 30 minutes later I heard something in the kitchen and he was back at it again. This time he got into the office which doesn't have a door handle, and the only way to get in is with a stick like object, we always use a orange peeler. Any who he found the markers and was coloring all over the refigerator. It wouldn't have been as bad but he was licking his hands and smearing it all over the fridge. This time I lost it and some choice words that I later repented for came out. I was ready to sell him! So I thought I would feed him lunch and then I could put him down for his nap. I made him a sandwich and gave him some cheez it crackers. I should have known better, but I left him in there so I could feed the baby. Well I went back after about 15 minutes and he dumped half of a box of crackers on the floor and stomped them into tiny pieces while tearing things off the fridge. I absolutely lost all sanity at that point. All I could do was put him to bed and hope that he didn't wake up until his dad came home. That was the end of that day. I really thought I could give him away. I didn't even tell Cort because I didn't think he would believe me. The next day after work Cort and I were talking and we heard something in the kitchen. When we walked in there I saw baking soda all over the floor and right in front of the fridge was my lovely 2 year old standing in a mix of soda and crushed eggs(at least 1/2 a dozen). I couldn't even say anything I made his dad take care of it. This is a picture of Gavin after we sat him in time out and couldn't say anything else to him. But like Cort and I always say " It's a good thing he is so cute"

Here are some cute pictures of the boys. Noah is getting so big and starting to sit and crawl. He has four teeth coming in. His two bottom and the two next to his front. He is so busy and becoming such a little boy.

HAHA!!! It's moments like these that help you realize the sense of humor our maker really has. I'm sure even during your words of choice he was ROCL (rolling on cloud laughing) :D

Oh Emily I'm so sorry I just had to laugh! Just the other day I told my husband that I hope no one followed me around all day because they would have thought I was a child abuser. My youngest often dangles me at the end of my rope. You're not alone!

Haha! Thanks Emily. Us women have got to stick together. Men are sympathetic but I don't think they really understand the exhaustion of pregnancy coupled with active toddlers. And don't worry, had this not been a surprise we probably would have waited for you for #3. Does this mean we can't convince you now? I am sure there is a female little cort in your future. :) Loves, Jeanette
